Limestone is a sedimentary rock primarily made of minerals such as calcite and aragonite.
Most limestone includes fossilized debris, shell fragments and other small fossils which are visible to the human eye on close examination of stone surface. However, some varieties of limestone are made of extremely fine grains.
Our limestone quarries are one of the hardest, most homogenous and unqiue limestone deposits in the world with its light and fine colors.
Limestone was also a very popular building block in the Middle Ages in the areas where it occurred, since it is hard, durable, and also suitable for carving.
Many landmarks across the world, including the Great Pyramid and its associated complex in Giza, Egypt, are made of limestone.
It is commonly used for architectural application for walls, sculptures, columns, veneer and decorative trim.
